Today we flew from Gatwick to San Jose.

Flight was fine just 11 hours with very little turbulence. Good views on both coasts as we circled prior to landing.

Queue for passport control was rather slow but our transfer was waiting- very cheerful. Air temperature was 33oC. However the trip from the airport to the hotel was long – rather like the M25 on a bad day.

Hotel president for our one night stop is nice with a pretty outdoor restaurant

Tiring day but enjoying a drink in the bar before retiring as we have an early start in the morning
